zuma.jpgPresident Jacob Zuma is expected to arrive in Harare today to facilitate dialogue between Zanu-PF and the MDC formations. 

A South African team arrived in Harare yesterday  to lay the ground for the mediator. It is  led  Mr. Charles Nqakula and comprising former Minister Mr Mac Maharaj and President Zuma’s International Relations Advisor Ms Lindiwe Zulu.

They were expected to hold meetings with GPA negotiators Cde Patrick Chinamasa-Zanu-PF,  Mr. Elton Mangoma-MDC-T and Professor Welshman Ncube- MDC.

Other negotiators are Cde Nicholas Goche -Zanu-PF, Mr. Tendai Biti -MDC-T and Mrs. Priscilla Misihairabwi-Mushonga –MDC.

The visit follows President Zuma’s recent tour of the United Kingdom where he urged British Prime Minister Gordon Brown to lift the illegal economic sanctions against Zimbabwe.
