karikoga kaseke.jpgZimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) Chief Executive has blasted the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) for not acknowledging and appreciating efforts by sponsors to ensure that the Warriors have adequate preparations and are comfortable ahead of the CHAN tournament.

ZTA Chief Executive, Karikoga Kaseke urged ZIFA to work together with all the stakeholders if they are to attract meaningful sponsorship.

He said the decision to move the Warriors camp to a better and up market hotel which is befitting to the team is meant to boost their morale and confidence ahead of a crucial tournament in Sudan, adding that the ZTA had been moved by the plight of the team and the significance of its mission in Sudan.

ZTA recently facilitated that the Warriors be moved from an ungraded accommodation at Palm Lodge to a more spacious Rainbow Towers in the capital.

Kaseke said ZIFA should acknowledge and appreciate efforts by other sponsors to boost the morale and confidence of the national team.

The Warriors are scheduled to leave for Sudan on Wednesday for the annual tournament which runs from the 3rd until the 24th of this month.

Zimbabwe has been drawn to play against neighbours South Africa, Ghana and Niger.
