Zimbabwe and Germany have resolved to increase bilateral trade ties to consolidate economic cooperation.
Trade between Zimbabwe and Germany is still low, averaging US$100 million yearly.
However, the two countries have agreed to solve factors hindering trade to boost ties, says Germany ambassador to Zimbabwe, Dr Thorsten Hutter.
ZimTrade chairman Lance Jena says Zimbabwe is ready to renew trade ties with the European Union nation.
Zimbabwe’s exports to Germany include horticulture products, minerals and agro-commodities while imports from the EU economy comprise machinery and vehicles.
