The Copa Coca-Cola dream team which will represent Zimbabwe at the Africa Football Cup in Kenya is optimistic they will deliver when they embark on the African Safari next week.

Zimbabwe under 15 Copa dream team which is set to represent the country in the Copa Coca-Cola Africa Football Cup slated for Kenya from the 2nd to the 6th of December says they are out to make history by bringing the trophy home for the first time since the inception of the tournament.

National Association of Primary School Heads (NAPH) Head-in-Charge Football, Tranos Mbwirire said the team is raring to go and is looking at nothing short of conquering Africa.

“This year we have a stronger team and I believe we can conquer Africa. The boys are raring to go and we have been taking on their paces seriously. So I am sure we can deliver,” he said.

Team coach, Pathias Mauto said there are no injury scares adding that the composition of the squad gives them hope that Zimbabwe will make history.

“We have been serious about this tournament from the onset hence we conducted two trainings per day. Morale is high in the camp and the boys are raring to go,” said Mauto.

Zimbabwe will begin their quest for the title chase with a clash against hosts Kenya on the 2nd of next month.
