ZBC’s acting chief executive officer Mr Patrick Mavhura says the national broadcaster will continue to listen to demands of stakeholders in its endeavour to meet its constitutional mandate.

Mr Mavhura said the historic event is a clear indication that the public broadcaster is continuing with its thrust to take its programming to the people.

He said his team is now working on the launch of the remaining national languages which are chibarwe, tswana and khoisan in line with the dictates of the constitution which identifies 16 languages as official in the country.

The ZBC management also assured the nation that in its short term vision, the national broadcaster is readying for the launch of current affairs programmes and dramas in all the national languages.
