Zanu-PF on indigenisation awareness

Zanu-PF Harare Province has embarked on an indigenisation and economic empowerment awareness campaign in a bid to educate its supporters on the importance of the programme for economic prosperity.

In an interview with ZBC News on the sidelines of an indigenisation workshop in Harare’s Tafara suburbs, Zanu-PF Harare Provincial Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment committee chairman, Cde Noah Mangondo, said the workshop is designed to present party supporters with opportunities availed by the programme.

The indigenisation and economic empowerment drive has seen some mining firms complying with the legislative framework through the launch of the community share ownership trusts for Mhondoro-Ngezi, Shurugwi and the Zvishavane community among other projects.
