The ruling party Zanu PF has continued to urge its supporters to effectively participate in the biometric voter registration (BVR) exercise ahead of the harmonised elections set for next year.

Addressing hundreds of Zanu PF supporters at a sensitisation meeting held in Highfield, Member of Parliament for the Highfield West Cde Psychology Mazivisa encouraged party members especially the youth to register as this is a crucial step to ensuring a resounding victory for President Robert Mugabe.

Meanwhile, Youth League member Tapiwa Mudimu urged the youths to effectively participate in the voter registration exercise.

The BVR exercise will kick start at ward level from the 16th of November to the 1st of December but already Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) officials are engaged in a nationwide awareness programme.
