The Zanu PF Harare Province Women’s League has embarked on a mop up exercise to encourage members that have not yet registered under the bio metric voter registration (BVR) system to do so before registration closes.
Zanu PF Harare Provincial Women’s League Chairperson, Cde Ratidzo Mukarati was in zone four this Sunday interacting with members from Tafara District in Harare East Constituency.
She called for unity in the ruling party and implored those instigating divisions to stop forthwith.
Speaking on the sidelines of the meeting, where the women were discussing how to assist those who are still to register under the new BVR system, Cde Mukarati said the Women’s League is the vanguard of the party and will ensure that as many women as possible are registered as voters so that they deliver a resounding victory for President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Zanu PF Harare Provincial Secretary for Administration, Cde Mavis Gumbo stressed the need for unity of purpose as the party prepares for the forthcoming elections.
The Harare Province Women’s League is on a drive to revive the wing and restore it to its former envied glory and status through hard work and commitment to the upliftment of women, children and the generality of the people of Zimbabwe.
