Driving in the capital city during peak hours has become a hassle as there is growing traffic congestion on the roads.

The congestion has been attributed to the increase in imported vehicles and poor management by responsible authorities who are failing to come up with efficient measures to curb it.

Experts say commuter omnibuses which flood the city centre are a cause for concern and urged government to re-introduce the 75 sitter urban buses instead of the 18 seat kombis if they are to decongest traffic in the capital.

Those in the construction industry say the growing population caused by rural to urban migration has caused higher demand for transport.
