This follows the dressing down of Energy and Power Development Minister, Mr Elton Mangoma by villagers in Makoni over a youth programme at Sherenje.

Diplomatic and political analyst, Ambassador Chris Mutsvangwa said the MDC-T legislator’s behaviour is a reflection of his party, which disregard the rural folk believing it to be gullible.

Zanu PF Mwenezi East House of Assembly Member, Cde Kudakwashe Bhasikiti said it is unfortunate that legislators do not respect the same electorate whose interest they are supposed to advance.

Minister Mangoma’s futile attempts to discredit a Youth Integrated Skills Outreach Programme received public disapproval at Sherenje School in Headlands.

Mr Mangoma was dressed down at a JOMIC meeting at Sherenje School in Headlands by villagers who heckled and booed his presentation charging that he was trying to incite violence among local people.
