South African duo, Mafikizolo, is in the country for their homecoming gig set for this evening at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC).
The top South African Afro-pop outfit landed at the Harare International Airport around mid-morning with their band and dancers.
Mafikizolo recently released a single titled “Ngeke balunge, Ngeke bas’qede”, they will perform the single in Zimbabwe for the first time
“The single has been receiving a lot of love across the globe, we are definitely going to be performing our new single,” said Theo Kgosinkwe.
South Africa’s talented duo, Theo Kgosinkwe and Nhlanhla Nciza have given us timeless hits; the likes of “Emlanjeni”, “Udakwa njalo” and more recently Khona and Love Portion.” Their new single “Ngeke balunge, Ngeke bas’qede” is a beautiful love song that sees them returning to the sound that first catapulted them to mainstream success in the early 2000s.
The multi award winning duo described Zimbabwe as their second home and promised fans a great show.
“We are excited to be back here, and we are grateful for the love that our fans have always shown us. We urge fans to come in their numbers and fill up the place,” said Nhlanha Nciza.
