A total of 43 participants taking part in the Kavango Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area Land Rover Experience Tour are in the country for the Zimbabwean leg of the expedition with organizers expressing their keenness to market the destination and to support conservation work.
Apart from giving off-road enthusiasts the opportunity to explore the wonderful terrain and landscape within Kavango Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area -KAZA TFCA, the expedition is meant to showcase the destination and raise awareness on biodiversity and economic opportunities.
Land Rover Experience Chief Executive Officer Dag Roggue noted that the team is proud to be associated with destination Zimbabwe.
“This is a truly amazing country with beautiful landscape, people and culture. We are looking forward to have a programme aimed at showcasing the country and raising awareness on conservation” he said.
KAZA TFCA Godfrey Mtare is optimistic the unique expedition will showcase the transfrontier conservation area as a premier tourism destination.
We are proud to be hosting this group and we hope that they will be able to assist us marketing the conservation area as a unique and competitive destination” Mr. Mtare said
Some of the Participants are thrilled by the excursion and are willing to come back for the experience.

The 2019 Land Rover Expedition Tour which started in the Khaudum National Park in Namibia on the 3rd of November has now crossed into Zimbabwe where participants are expected to traverse the Hwange National Park and, in the process, enjoy the majesty of destination
From Hwange National Park the participants will head to Botswana on the 11th of this month and drive through the magnificent wilderness of the Okavango Delta area.
