President Emmerson Mnangagwa has returned home from Tanzania where he was on a 2-day state visit.

He was welcomed at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport by Vice President Retired General Constantino Chiwenga, several cabinet ministers, senior government officials and service chiefs.

Earlier, President Mnangagwa visited Bhaghamoyo Military Camp in Tanzania where he trained in 1963 with 59 FRELIMO cadres, six Zimbabweans and five South Africans.

He thanked the local people for having given them sanctuary.

The President said his best Friend John Mawawa, a South African, was caught and hanged in his country when he was in operation.

Cde Mnangagwa also said the likes of Joaquim Chissano and General Alberto Chipande of Mozambique and many FRELIMO cadres passed through Bhaghamoyo which he said he is happy to be associated with.

President Mnangagwa donated US$10 000 to the institution which is now an agriculture college.
