President Emmerson Mnangagwa has sworn-in Hon. Owen Ncube as the Minister of State for National Security in the President’s Office at State House today.
The legislator for Gokwe/Kana, Hon. Ncube, who is the former Minister of State for Midlands province, becomes the 21st cabinet minister to be sworn in.
British envoy bids ED farewell
Meanwhile, the out-going British Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Catriona Laing says her tour of duty in Zimbabwe has been momentus.
She was speaking at State House in Harare when she bid farewell to President Mnangagwa today.
Ambassador Laing also said she is happy that she is leaving at a time when prospects for Zimbabwe are bright.
Speaking to journalists, she said as an ambassador, she deals with the government of the day, adding that had it been the MDC in power, she could be working with them.
