Residents of Granary Park south west of Harare are crying foul over the slow infrastructural development of the area by the private developer.
The residents are complaining over poor road networks and that their drinking water is being contaminated by septic tanks due to poor planning.
They are also saying there are no health facilities resulting in them being at high risk of diseases.
The group executive chairman of J.S Omar Holdings, Mr Joosbi Sams Omar said he will resume development within the next few weeks as he is now working with the city council.
He however blamed the council for delaying developments as they were given some of the money to do so.
Contacted for comment, Harare City Council spokesperson, Michael Chideme said he was yet to investigate and come up with a response to ZBC News.
