Zimbabwe has set its sight on the next stage of health delivery by establishing community village health posts in marginalised areas to ensure ease access for all citizens.
The community in Nyanga’s Bende area, where villagers used to travel almost 40 kilometres to access the nearest health care centre at Nyanga General Hospital is over the moon following the establishment of a community health centre post in their area.
Health and Child Care Minister, Dr David Parirenyatwa said the country’s health delivery system is set for a major overhaul through the inception of the community village health posts which will ensure the majority of Zimbabweans have easy access to health care.

Over 4 000 villagers are expected to benefit from the establishment of the Bende Clinic.
