Africa’s last year World Cup losing quarter finalist, Ghana, drew 1-1 against England in a friendly match played at Wembley on Tuesday night.
Ghananian striker Asamoah Gyans’ injury-time equaliser deprived England of victory despite Andy Carroll’s first international goal that had looked to have settled the game in favour of Fabio Capello’s revamped England side.

The 25-year-old Sunderland forward who had earlier seen the match as a World Cup encounter to the Ghanaians, got a chance of World Cup glory after finding himself at the centre of Ghana’s heart-breaking exit in South Africa last year when he missed a penalty against Uruguay.
