10 Chinese doctors conducted a free medical clinic at Arda Transau in a move that benefitted scores of people who were moved from Marange.
Addressing the resettled families, Mr. Bing Weng, who was representing the Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe, said his government will continue to support the countryâ€™s health delivery system.
“The cooperation we have between China and Zimbabwe is one important part of our bilateral relations,” said Mr. Weng.
Since 1984, China has sent more than 100 specialists to help with health facilities in Zimbabwe.
The friendship between China and Zimbabwe has seen a lot of investment projects such as the construction of Chinhoyi Hospital and a donation of US$140 million to assist in the Harare water treatment plant.
