Vice President Kembo Mohadi has challenged local companies to take full advantage of the presence of international counterparts to create productive linkages.

Speaking after a tour of stands at the ZITF, Vice President Mohadi urged locals to grab the platform and clinch business deals.

While ease of doing business reforms are underway, Cde Mohadi commended the presence of international exhibitors from the 16 participating countries as an opportunity for locals to build synergies with them.

He described this year’s fair as a resounding success as evidenced by the over-subscription for exhibition space.

The Vice President attributed this to the government’s Zimbabwe is open for business stance.

This year’s trade fair saw a 100 percent uptake of floor space with an additional 5 percent being availed as overflow.

Vice President Mohadi toured a number of stands that included the Ministry of Health and Child Care, POTRAZ, Zanu PF and the livestock section.
