The Angel of Hope Foundation has opened new business avenues with the industrial hub of China, the Guangzhou, following an invite for the First Lady’s to visit the Republic of China and explore possible areas of partnership.
The First Lady, Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa, who is leading a Zimbabwean delegation comprising of members of the business community and different ministries, says the Chinese People must take advantage of the centrality of Zimbabwe and open manufacturing companies for the benefit of the region.
Amai Mnangagwa was invited through her foundation by the Chinese business community after realising her efforts in empowering Zimbabweans economically.
“I was invited as the patron of Angel of Hope Foundation to come and explore possible areas of partnerships. I also extended my invitation to government departments and business people to also take advantage of the latest opportunity,” she said.
More than one hundred Chinese companies made indications of their willingness to take advantage of the latest partnership with Angel of Hope Foundation one of them being an Agro-based company which showcased its products and is looking forward to mechanising the agricultural industry.
Among the delegates accompanying the First Lady is the Minister of Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Development, Dr Sithembiso Nyoni.
