dembare players celebrate.jpgAll is set for the African Safari weekend which will see Dynamos clash with African Club Champions TP Mazembe at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday while Caps United will lock horns with Al Hilal of Sudan away on the same day.

Representing Zimbabwe for the fourth time in the CAF Champions League, DeMbare will be hoping to get their campaign in the money spinning stage of the competition off to a bright start by overcoming reigning African Champions TP Mazembe.

Boasting of the talents such as a rejuvenated Evans Gwekwerere, Wonder Sithole and Ashley Rambanepasi, the Glamour Boys will be hoping to continue with an impressive defensive record which has seen the boys in blue only conceding one goal in the league so far this season.

While DeMbare will be battling for an impressive start to their mini-league campaign, Caps United will be laboring for a favourable result away from home when they lock horns with Edward Sadomba’s Al Hilal in Khartoum on Sunday.

Following the departure of Method Mwanjali, Nyasha Mushekwi, Oscar Machapa, Tafadzwa Rusike, and Lionel Mtizwa it will be a huge test of character for the Green machine whose band of supporters believe the team will register the desired results.

A favourable result would steer Caps United closer to clinching a place in the group stages of the CAF Confederations Cup, while for Dynamos, a victory would be a perfect start in the group stage campaign.

Dynamos reached the finals of the same competition in 1998 before reaching the semi-finals ten years later.
