The late Retired Chief Justice Godfrey Chidyausiku has been described as an independent, firm and honest man who transformed the justice delivery in Zimbabwe through the implementation of the Judicial Service Commission Act.
He died yesterday in South Africa where he was air lifted to receive medical treatment.

The body of the late Retired Chief Justice is expected in the country this Friday (tomorrow).
During his tenure as the head of judiciary, he increased the number of courts especially the magistrate courts which are now accessible at district level, also ensured the establishment of the country’s third high court in Masvingo a development which has improved justice delivery in the superior courts.
