sekeramayi sydney.jpgMarondera-Hwedza Senator, Cde Sydney Sekeramayi, says indigenisation of the country’s economy is the best way to ensure that foreign owned companies do not sabotage the economy for self gains.

Speaking at the hand over ceremony of nine grinding mills to village-wards in Hwedza North constituency where he was Guest of Honour, Cde Sekeramayi said if indigenous people own most the businesses in the country, the western countries led by Britain and America will not have a chance to sabotage the economy since local people have their country at heart.

Speaking at the same occasion, Chairperson of the Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veteran Association, Cde Jabulani Sibanda, urged the people of Hwedza to continue rallying behind ZANU-PF since it is the party that has the people at heart.

The grinding mills are part of the proceeds of the constituency development programme and has seen people from Sengezi, Watershed, Hwedza and Makwarimba among other places benefitting from the development.
