Black Rhinos Queens beat a stubborn Cyclone Stars by a goal to nil to maintain their unbeaten run in a Zimbabwe women’s football soccer league mid-week match played at Chirodzo Primary School in the capital.
The log leaders found the net mid-way into the second half through winger and former Mighty Warriors captain Felistas Muzongondi who finished off a well worked move.

Mighty Warriors striker Rutendo “Madzimai” Makore went close several times but the home team Cyclone Stars coached by Webster Chikaola resorted to delaying tactics and appeared content with a draw throughout until the goal in the second half.
Black Rhinos Queens scored well into the second half following a well worked move started Emmaculate Msipa and Mavis Chirandu which Felistas “Figo” Muzongondi finished to give them three points and maintain their unbeaten streak.
Another mid-week fixture is set for Bulawayo on Wednesday featuring borrow jets and ZRP Harare at Barham Green.
In other weekend fixtures Herentals lost to Weermas 4-2. Weermas scored through Thelma Sekete, Evermore Mutandwa, Barbara Soko and Samantha Peters while the students Herentals replied through Susan Nyama and an own goal by the Weermas.
Rhinos Queens beat ZRP Harare by five goals to nil at 2 Brigade headquarters with Felistas Muzongondi scoring a hat-trick, Mavis Chirandu and Rutendo Makore a goal each.
Correctional Services Queens beat Blue Swallows by two goals to one while ZRP Queens beat COSA 4-nil.
ZRP Harare province beat Mutare-based Faith Driby three goals to nil at Morgan High School with Molline Karengesha, Precious Chirinda and Devine Makusha the scorers.
