art exhibition.jpgAn art exhibition of painting is currently on display at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe.


The exhibition reflects works of art produced during the first 10 years after the country’s independence in 1980.

It  is being said that the exhibition seeks to take the audience back to the events that took place 10 years after independence  with the artist playing a very significant role of informing and educating the community about the importance of the country’s independence and sovereignty.

The Public Relations Officer at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe, Rutendo Mutadzapasi said the paintings exhibitions on the National Gallery is an approach of visual documentation by artists who contribute towards mapping anew road in development.
