Government policies introduced last year will come under the spotlight at the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) annual congress set for next week.
The ZNCC will host its annual congress next week in the resort town of Victoria Falls under the theme, “Consolidating the New Normal Economy Through Policy Reforms”.
Last year government came up with a number of economic policies meant to stimulate economic growth through increased capacity utilisation and the creation of employment.
ZNCC president, Mr Davison Norupiri said the congress will give the business community an opportunity to interface with policy makers as well as senior government officials on policy direction for the growth of the economy.
Currently the government is working on the ease of doing business reforms as a way of building confidence within the investing public while the statutory instrument 64 of 2016 is yielding positive results for the manufacturing sector.
The establishment of special economic zones is also underway to pave way for structured investments and building successes on the command agriculture initiative.
