The White City Stadium comes alive tomorrow as it hosts the National Association of Secondary School Heads track and field championships which run until Friday.
The country’s biggest schools track and field event will see over 2000 athletes drawn from all provinces converging at White City Stadium in what is billed as an important nurturing competition.
All participating teams are now in the City of Kings and administrative work such as accreditation being complete said Phillip Chikomwe NAPH head-in-charge of athletics.
Action is set to get underway tomorrow morning at 8am with the U18 boys 10 000 metre race.
It is hoped that a national side to compete in regional and international competitions will be selected from the event.
