The Air Force of Zimbabwe (AFZ) is committed to improve knowledge and skills to its officers.
The message was highlighted when 44 officers graduated from the senior non-commissioned officers’ course number 59 at the Manyame Air Base in the capital.
A trained workforce is one of the most important resources of any organisation.
In reaffirming its commitment to improve its efficiency the AFZ capacitated 44 officers in line with their duties.
Director General Planning Air Commodore Elisha Masakadza said the AFZ is committed to improve its workforce’s proficiencies and urged the graduands to use their attained skills for the good.
The graduates said the course has greatly empowered them and they are ready to serve their respective nations.
The course covered subjects that include Civil Military Relations, Effective Communication, Regional and International Relations, and Military Humanitarian Law among others.
A contingent of six allied students from Malawi, Zambia and Tanzania also undertook the 12 week course.
Of the 44 non-commissioned officers who graduated 7 were female officers.
