Former Warriors captain, Knowledge Musona was the biggest casualty in the Zimbabwe senior national football team squad announced by interim coach, Joey Antipas ahead of the 2022 World Cup preliminary round qualifier against Somalia next month.

Other notable names who have been omitted after the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) disbanded the Warriors are George Chigova, Nyasha Mushekwi and Marvelous Nakamba.

The first leg will be played in Djibouti on 5 September and the return leg is set for 8 September at Barbourfields Stadium in Bulawayo.

Teenage Hadebe, Macclive Phiri, Peter Muduwa, Alec Mudimu and Divine Lunga.
