king zwelonke.jpgThe visiting 22nd king of the Xhosa kingdom in South Africa, King Zwelonke  Sigcawu, on Tuesday visited the National Heroes Acre in Harare.


King Sigcawu said the visit is to appreciate the work done by fallen and living heroes of the liberation war.

He hailed the Head of State and Government and Commander-in-Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, Cde Robert Mugabe for playing a leading role in ensuring that the region is free from colonialism.

King Sigcawu is in the country ahead of the cultural ceremony set to be held in Mbembesi at Sojini Secondary School where most of the Xhosa people in the country live.

He is expected to oversee the circumcision of boys this Thursday before visiting communities there on Friday.
