The Zvishavane community has been urged to vote for Zanu PF in the forthcoming elections for meaningful development of the town and the country.
Flanked by the Midlands provincial chair McKenzie Ncube and Masvingo provincial chair Ezra Chadzamira, Zvishavane Shurugwi Senator Larry Mavhima and Minister of Local Government, Public Works and National Housing, Mines and Mining Development Minister Mr Winston Chitando who was guest of honour at a Zanu PF campaign rally held at Maglas said the people of Zvishavane have an opportunity to ensure the wheels of development are maintained by voting for Zanu PF in the 30 July polls.
“In a very short space of time we have seen meaningful development under the stewardship of President Emerson Mnangagwa. The country has racked $20 billion investment a feat never realised by the country since independence,” he said.
The guest of honour said more job opportunities are set to be realised as a new look Zvishavane beckons.
Zimasco is set to build two furnaces in Zvishavane while Mberengwa is earmarked to be a gold centre.
