The Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) is upbeat the 2017 edition of the Harare International Carnival is going to live to its billing.
The tourism mother body said 25 country’s have so far confirmed participating over the 9 day event slated to commence from the 1st to the 10th of September.
“This year among the headline acts will be DRC’s rhumba man of the moment Werason, South African artists, and locally Zimbabwe’s music icon Oliver Mtukudzi, Jah Prayzah, and more than a hundred local groups will participate during the event,” said the ZTA chief executive, Mr Karikoga Kaseke.
Of the 25 countries expected to participate Cuba, Brazil, India, Jamaica, and all regional neighbours will showcase their culture and tradition through song and dance.
A bush party will also be held in Ruwa and a street party on the 9th of September which will lead into a pungwe among other activities.
