The Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) is ready to grow the country’s tourism industry and gain the market share lost in the previous years.
This was said by ZTA Chief Operating Officer Mr Givemore Chidzidzi on the sidelines of a tour of Matopos organised for some Nigerian tour operators.
He further explained that in order to ensure the initiative is implemented, ZTA has partnered with Kenyan Airways and Nigerian tour operators.
A member of the visiting contingent Mr Hafeez Balogun promised to bring in more tourists to Zimbabwe to advance the growth of the African tourism industry.
The team visited the Matopo Hills and is also set to tour Victoria Falls, Hwange safaris and other resort areas.
