Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) chief executive officer Mr Karikoga Kaseke says President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s business principles separate him as a man bend on yielding immediate results in the restoration of this nation.

The ZTA chief executive officer who was in the delegation that travelled with President Mnangagwa during his state visit to China said contrary to widespread reports that government incurred costs of travel for the private sector delegation, the fact is more than 80 representatives of the business delegation footed their own bills for the entire trip.

Mr Kaseke said this newest stance shows President Mnangagwa is a man with a clear vision on what measures should be done to ensure the quick return of Zimbabwe to full functionality.

“Let me put it to record that government did not spend even a single cent on any one of us who travelled with the President to China. Each one of us here footed his or her own bill,” he said.

Chief executive officers of three parastatals ZTA, ZimTrade and Zimbabwe Investment Authority were among several other business leaders who seized the China tour to scout for business opportunities and draw lessons from the second biggest economy in the world.
