The Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE) started on a high note due to gains by the two mainstream trading indices.

The industrial index gained by 1.45 percent to 512.67 points while the resources or mining index was 4.92 percent up to 134.44 points.

 Gainers on the market included Nicoz 20.00 percent up to 4.80 cents, FML rose by 11.1 percent to 0.20 cents, Delta rose by 4.67 percent to 303.42 cents, Hippo was 3.92 percent up to end at 156.92 cents.

On the losers BAT shed 2.64 percent to close at 3560.00 cents, Innscor was 0.14 percent down to end at 178.25 cents, ZPI dropped by 0.77 percent to end at 2.58 cents.
