The Zimbabwe Stock Exchange extended gains for the second day of the week on the back of marginal benefits by heavyweight counters.

The industrial index extended by a further 0.58 points to close at 196.73 points, while the mining or resources index was steady at 69.79 points.

Old Mutual added 4.75 cents to close at 392.00 cents, Hippo increased by 4.74 cents to trade at 80.00 cents and Seedco rose by 1.15 cents to settle at 141.00 cents.

Dairibord gained 0.25 cents to 6.46 cents and First Mutual was up by 0.16  cents to close at 10.76 cents.

Star Africa Corporation was the only which traded in red after coming off 0.02 cents to close at 1.18 cents.

Bindura, Falgold, Hwange and RioZim remained unchanged.
