The Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE) ended the week with marginal gains on the back of renewed investor perception in several listed counters.

The all share index ended the first week of the new year with a 0.07 percent gain to 97.59 points.

The industrial index also rose by 0.08 percent to close at 325.23 points, while the mining index was unchanged at 142.40 points.

On the gainers, Old Mutual rose by 2.55 percent to end at 472.84 cents, Meikles was 0.51 percent up to end at 29.65 cents, Padenga was 0.56 percent up to end at 55.00 cents.

On the losers PPC shed 8.17 percent to close at 87.00 cents, Willdale shed 1.45 percent to 0.68 cents and Econet dropped by 0.28 percent to 90.00 cents.
