The second edition of the ZRP Commissioner General’s Funfair held in Bulawayo was a huge success with residents treated to some exciting performances by renowned artists and some breathtaking displays.

Bulawayo came to life on Saturday as hordes of people packed the White City Stadium to witness first class entertainment from various police displays.

Gospel musicians, Charles and Olivia Charamba also serenaded fans with their yesteryear hits, while Sandra Ndebele and South African based artist, Madlela Skobokobo also kept the crowd entertained.

Children were also taken care of with an infant section proving to be a hive of activity.

Some of the people who graced the event said they enjoyed the performances and requested for more of such shows from the law enforcement agents.

ZRP Spokesperson, Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba thanked Bulawayo residents for supporting the event which she described as unique.

The fun filled day also saw lucky winners walking away with prizes ranging from cars and fridges to electronic gadgets.

The ZRP Commissioner General’s Funfair is an annual event with proceeds channelled towards charity.
