The Commander Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) hosted different units and formations at his 2018 edition of the ZNA skills at arms meeting where the winners scooped cash prizes, shields and trophies.

Different units from the ZNA, Air Force of Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe Republic Police, Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services and civilians, today received prizes for the shooting competition which started on the 11th of June.

Addressing uniformed forces and civilians at Cleveland Rifle Range in Harare, Commander ZNA Lieutenant General Edzai Chimonyo said shooting competitions with other forces and civilians provide realistic practice to the physical battle and makes them interact in firing skills.

Parachute Regiment scooped the army commander trophy and US$300 after emerging as the best formation in the competition and Sergeant Liberty Zvenyika from Mounted Regiment came out the best shooter and champion at arms coming first in the AK match 3 top 10 firers male category.
