The Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) has lined up a number of training seminars this year to improve its capacity in inline with military technology transformations taking place at a global level.
ZNA Chief of General Staff – Operations and Training at army headquarters, Major General Trust Mugoba said training has become one of the ZNA priority areas during peace times.
He added that ZNA Commander, Lieutenant General Phillip Valerio Sibanda has directed various army units to embark on various training programmes to improve military efficiency.
Following the directive from ZNA Commander, 2 Infantry Brigade is conducting a seminar on offensive operations as its lead formation task.
The training programme has on its agenda discussions on the most appropriate media policy the ZNA should pursue in its quest to improve its relations with the Fourth Estate, among other areas of concern.
