Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) officers have been reminded to uphold discipline in the execution of their duties as indiscipline will endanger the society they are supposed to protect.

The need for members of the ZNA to uphold discipline was made at the pass-out parade of 88 of general squad drill and small arms course at 2.1 Reserve Force Battalion in Mt Darwin.

Discipline is key for the force to execute their duties as the course was meant to inculcate that into officers, noted the reviewing officer Colonel Albert Malamu.

2.1 Reserve Force Battalion Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Kachingwe thanked the community of Mt Darwin for the support.

Among the students, two females walked away with prizes of best student and second runner up.

The course encompassed various aspects such as field craft, guard mounting, foot drill, military law among others.
