He said this at a hand and takeover ceremony held at Parachute Regiment for the outgoing and the incoming commanding officers at Inkomo Barracks.
Outgoing Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) Parachute Regiment commanding officer Lieutenant Colonel Jameson Bishi formally handed over command of the regiment to Lieutenant Colonel Dube at a ceremony held in the capital today.
Speaking at the hand and take over ceremony that was held at the barrack, the outgoing commanding officer expressed his gratitude for working with the unit for four years.
In his acceptance speech as the commanding officer, Lieutenant Colonel Dube emphasized the need for officers to keep working hard to serve the nation.
Lieutenant Colonel Bishi spent more than four years overseeing activities at the regiment and facilitated the expansion of the base, while initiating several development related programmes.
