The Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) says it will continue developing partnerships with the corporate world to foster relations between the two parties.

The ZNA says the development of synergies between the military and civilians is key in any developing country.

This came out at a function hosted by the ZNA to honour its strategic business partners through the executive interaction initiative.

Army Commander Lieutenant General Phillip Valerio Sibanda said the executive interaction initiative has already been adopted by other African countries.

The organising secretary of the executive interaction initiative Mr Eugene Mlambo called on the business community to partner the military in promoting the charity work by the organisation.

Lieutenant General Sibanda took the opportunity to observe a minute of silence in honour of the late Professor Primrose Kurasha.

He said the late Professor Kurasha contributed immensely to the cordial relations that existed between the army and the Zimbabwe Open University.
