The Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) music outfit, Crocodile Sounds have launched a nine track album titled Garwe Rauya at a colourful event held Harare.

It was an event not to miss as the new musical outfit launched its debut album.

Judging by the performance at the launch, the future is bright for the ZNA musical band as those who attended temporarily lost themselves in the Sungura vibe.

Speaking to the ZBC News on the sidelines of the launch, Brigadier General Mechanised Brigade Stephen Gwekwerere said as soldiers, they do a lot of things for the public including providing entertainment.

Garwe Rauya is a nine track album which features songs such as the title track: Garwe Rauya, Nechombo, Amai, Handidi Kusara, Tamba, Iwe Nhamo, Zuva Rinonzi Nhasi, Mudiwa and Nechombo instrumental.

It is the song Garwe Rauya which people must look forward to, according to Crocodile Sounds Executive Producer, Juliet Dzuda.

ZNA musical groups have in the past rocked the airwaves and one such group was the Zimbabwe Militia Band which released the smash hit Amai Vadhikondo, which topped musical charts in the early 1990s.
