The Zimbabwe National Army will continue to train its personnel to adapt to new technologies in line with global trends, a top commander has said.          

The ZNA has proved to be a military establishment of exceptional standards judging by its operations in the country and internationally with the United Nations continuously knocking on the country’s doors for assistance in areas of conflicts.         

Officiating at a Section Commanders’ Tactics Graduation Ceremony held at 11 Combat Group at Induna Barracks in Bulawayo, Commander 1 Infantry Battalion Brigadier General Augustine Chipwere says the country can only continue to have a respected army through continuous upgrading of its personnel.

Brigadier General Chipwere urged the graduating section commanders to exercise discipline as they execute their duties of protecting the national integrity.                                

The 73 graduates who included 15 female students covered courses in employment of section weapons, fire control orders, use of radios, conventional war tactics battle procedure in all phases of war and civil military relations and low intensity operations.
