Foreign participants at this year’s Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) have outlined vast opportunities that Zimbabwe can leverage on to boost its export earnings.
The ZITF is the country’s gateway to new opportunities, a perfect conduit to grow linkages and stimulate business exchanges.
Attracting 16 international participants this year, already there is strong sentiment to enhance trade ties to mutually benefit local industries.
Belarus, first time exhibitors at the fair, has stated a huge statement of intent for massive footprint in Zimbabwe.
Other markets are also beckoning with sound possibilities for tea exports into Namibia.
From the simplest stands to the most sophisticated, foreign players agree that ZITF has boosted intra-trade links within SADC.
Foreign nations participating at this year’s ZITF include Belarus, the United States of America, Botswana, Ethiopia, Japan, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates among others.
