kickboxing.jpgThe Zimbabwe Kickboxing Association has announced the team that will represent the nation at the African kickboxing Championship set for Madagascar.

The Zimbabwe kickboxing team that is set to grace the African Championship comprises national champion Brighton Tangata, Ronald Deketeke, Nicholas Kurimira and Tafadzwa Muropa.

 

Zimbabwe Kickboxing Association President Tony Kamangira said the Leg Hunters as the national kickboxing team is called, is made up of tried and tested kickboxers possessing the capacity to stand the heat associated with the continental stage.

“With the experience that the fighters have, I expect them to hold their own at the tournament. The guys have fought in numerous tournaments and we expect them to use the experience attained propel the team to victory,” Kamangira said.

The Zimbabwe kickboxing team has already commenced preparations for the continental tournament in a bid to outshine their rivals.

The African Kickboxing Championship will be held in Madagascar in April.
