Acting President, John Landa Nkomo, says there is need for Zimbabweans to unite and defend the freedom the country is currently enjoying in order to create social and economic development for the nation.
Addressing the Rusitu community at Hlabiso Secondary School in Chimanamani, Cde Nkomo said Zimbabwe has got enough resources to transform the living conditions of local communities.
He said all that is needed is to co-operate and work together for a common goal.
Cde Nkomo added the entire presidium is committed to the development of all the country’s provinces.
He however bemoaned the poor state of the Rusitu Road and assured the villagers that government is going to give special priority to address the problem.
