The Zimbabwe under 19 cricket team sealed a series victory after a comprehensive 171 run win over Namibia at Harare Sports Club today.
Nambia won the toss and sent Zimbabwe in to bat first.
Wesley Mudhevere top scored for the hosts with 62 runs in an innings which saw Dion Myers chipping in with 56 while Milton Shumba made a half century.
The three half century makers helped Zimbabwe reach 287 handing Nambia a difficult task of scoring 288 runs in order to win the match.
Chasing 287 Namibia felt the heat with Albert Vander Merwe out for 5 before Jan Loftie Eaton was out for a duck.
Save for Eben Van Wyk who managed 55 runs, Namibia struggled with Liam Roche leading from the front with the ball after ending with figures of 4 for 32.
Dion Mazhawidza and Madhevere each took 3 wickets, ensuring Namibia were bowled out for 116 as Zimbabwe won by 171 runs to clinch the series.
