Zimbabwe and Zambia are set to cooperate in business developmental projects following a recent visit by a Zimbabwean delegation to Lusaka Zambia for bilateral discussions and resolutions on twinning arrangements between the two countries.
The delegation from Zimbabwe was led by Minister of State for Mashonaland Central Province, Advocate Martin.
“The bilateral talks saw Zimbabwe signing a memorandum of understanding with the Zambian government to cooperate in areas of tourism, trade and industry, transport and infrastructure as well as agriculture sectors,” noted Advocate Dinha.
Advocate Dinha also said the meeting they held in Lusaka resolved to promote exchange visits between Lusaka Province and Mashonaland Central Province in terms of business development between the two provinces.
Advocate Dinha and his delegation who also visited the Lusaka Agricultural Show held bilateral talks with former Zambian president Dr Kenneth Kaunda, Provincial Minister for Lusaka Province, Honourable Japhen Mwakalombe as well as officials from various Zambian government ministries.
